How to Erase your Internet Browsing History
Your web browser creates a historical record of which web sites you have visited and this information is stored on your computer hard drive, so to "cover your tracks" you will need to follow these simple steps and clear out the history.
Please Note:
Clearing web browser history in this way will delete ALL histories of ALL visited websites. If you are concerned that someone may be checking up on your Internet usage, the absence of this history may appear suspicious. You may want to think about what to say if someone asks....e.g.
- you don't know what they are talking about
- you must have done it by mistake
- you cleared the history to make space on the computer cause it was running slow
